S&A's FS 1230 Multiple Drop Spreader           This is S&A's Multiple Drop Spreader. These spreaders are designed for dropping material directly on the beds in row crop applications. These spreaders are made to order and have many possible configurations and options. This spreader can be custom designed to fit your particular application needs.  We build these units with adjustable guides so you can, within reason, adjust to different row spacings. Features          This unit is always made to order, so there is really no "standard model". There are many possible configurations. Following are some of the options available for this spreader: front or rear multiple drop conveyor with as many drops as is feasible in your application, rear spinners on front drop unit, mild or stainless steel hopper, single or dual axles, heavy duty model with enhanced structural integrity and extra heavy duty hydraulics. Hydraulics on this unit are driven by pump mounted on PTO of tractor, by direct hookup to tractor hydraulics, or by gas engine and pump mounted on unit. Side extensions for extra capacity (may require heavy duty options depending on weight of material). High floatation tires. Many more options available.

Operation          Due to the custom nature of these units, it is not possible to describe the operation of every possible configuration. Typically there are individual hydraulic flow controls for the bar chain and for the delivery system. On the multiple drop unit, you simply adjust the material guides to fine tune the material placement.
